Rising in Velvet ("I", "me", "my") creates and sells digital guides and printable resources through Lemon Squeezy. This policy explains what personal information I collect, why I collect it, and what your rights are. My approach is simple: I collect as little as I need, I only email people who’ve asked me to, and I never sell or share your information.

When you buy a guide. Your purchase is handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects and processes your order details — such as your name, email, billing information, and payment details — to complete your order, handle tax, and deliver your guide. Payments are processed securely by Lemon Squeezy’s payment provider; I never see or store your full payment card details. I receive limited order information (such as your name, email, and what you bought) so I can fulfil your order and keep proper records.
Lawful basis: performance of a contract — I need this to provide what you’ve paid for.
When you sign up for emails or download a free resource. If you join my email list — by signing up directly or by downloading a free guide and choosing to receive emails — I collect your email address and any name you provide, so I can send you news about new products, launches, and occasional offers.
Lawful basis: consent — you choose to sign up and can withdraw at any time.
When you email me. If you contact me at [email protected], I’ll receive your email, your name (if provided), and whatever you write. This is used only to reply to you.
Lawful basis: legitimate interest — responding to people who contact me.
I only send marketing emails to people who’ve chosen to receive them. Buying from me does not add you to my list. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out instantly at any time, or email me to be removed.
To run my store, I rely on a few trusted service providers who process data on my behalf:
